Ekaki is Ashish Chanchlani’s directorial debut web series released on YouTube (ACV Studios), promoted as a horror-comedy / supernatural thriller experience.
For the series launch, the opening needed a short, cinematic sequence that immediately sets the mood and makes the Ekaki identity feel premium, while staying consistent across chapters.
Premise is set around friends visiting an abandoned bungalow known as “Ekaki Villa”, where their party turns into a paranormal nightmare.
This case study covers our execution work: Blender 3D production and in-Blender compositing/look-dev. The final master composite and sound design were completed by Sasta Acid.
We produced the intro using Blender, from scene build and animation to compositing inside Blender.

To keep the opening fresh across episodes, we created episode-wise variants under the direction of Sasta acid of the Ekaki intro. The base scene and animation language stayed consistent, but we introduced subtle variations in color grading, lighting mood, and thematic elements so each episode’s intro matches its chapter tone.

Yes, Ekaki is Ashish Chanchlani’s directorial debut web series, released on YouTube (ACV Studios).
It streams for free on YouTube (ACV Studios), with the release announced for 27 November 2025.
We executed the 3D animation + compositing in Blender for the intro and logo motion, based on Sasta Acid’s branding/direction. Direction +Sound design + final master finishing were completed by Sasta Acid.
